LONDON, UK – (HealthTech Wire / News) – HealthTech Wire, the industry's news service, today announced that it will feature a dedicated news channel for this year's Health Informatics Congress (HC2011) as part of a partnership deal with the conference & exhibition, which is organised by the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.
- HC2011 has joined HealthTech Wire's News Partner Network to expand coverage on HC, the UK's largest health-IT event
- HealthTech Wire to provide a dedicated online news channel at www.healthtechwire.co.uk/hc in the run-up to and during the conference & exhibition
- HC2011's GoDirect channel will contain news from the conference and exhibition and will provide a place for exhibitors to publish their own news, for dissemination across the HealthTech Wire network
HC2011's GoDirect channel www.healthtechwire.co.uk/HC will contain news from the conference and exhibition, which takes place 5-7 April at the ICC in Birmingham — and will also provide a place for exhibitors to publish their own news, for dissemination across the HealthTech Wire network. The channel will also feature a daily live ticker from the event, with updates on conference tracks, exhibitor activities and networking events.
“We are delighted to announce this partnership with HC2011 — the UK's largest event for health and social care informaticians, ICT professionals and clinicians,” says Armin Scheuer, managing director of So2say communications Ltd, the company that manages HealthTech Wire. “Not only will this new channel provide exhibitors and visitors with a central source of health IT industry news from the event, it will also help Healthcare Computing and its exhibitors reach out to both national and European audiences in the run-up to it — increasing its visibility in the UK and overseas.”
A new member to HealthTech Wire’s News Partner Network
With this new move, the Health Informatics Congress will become part of HealthTech Wire's growing News Partner Network (NPN), which in recent months has been expanded to include nearly 30 affiliate organisations. HC2011 joins the league of European health-IT events in HealthTech Wire’s News Partner Network, which already includes conhIT — the German Health IT show, eHealthCare.ch – the Swiss Health-IT show, as well as eHealth Week — the pan-European health-IT event.
News Partners support HealthTech Wire in disseminating the industry's news. The partnership will also help So2say in its mission to advance the application of IT in healthcare.
